Flat Stanley goes to Salem Massachusetts

Flat Stanley went to Salem Massachusetts with AmyLou and her friends Julia and Jennifer today.

Salem is a city in Essex CountyMassachusetts, in the United States
The population was 41,340 at the 2010 census.
Salem was one of the most significant seaports in early America.

Here I am with new friends, Julia and Jennifer as we get ready to go to Salem MA

Here I am with a Statue in Salem of "Samantha" from the TV show "Bewitched" which was a big hit between 1964-1972.  In the year 1970, the show filmed an episode of Bewitched in Salem MA.

Here I am in front of "The Burying Point" cemetery..
The Oldest Burying Ground in the City of Salem.

I am just having fun having my picture taken with my face in this
cut out of a witch!!  I think i am too small!!

I met some pirates in Salem today...Can you tell which on is real??

Here I am in front of the "Friendship" in Salem Harbor.
Friendship, a reconstruction of a 171-foot three-masted Salem East Indiaman built in 1797, arrived on September 1, 1998 at the National Park Service's Salem Maritime National Historic Site in Salem. She is the largest wooden, Coast Guard certified, sailing vessel to be built in New England in more than a century.

" The Friendship" is located at the Salem Maritime National Historic Site.
Can you find met in this photo?

Just having fun again having my photo taken with this
Salem Witch!!

Here I am in front of the Ye Olde Pepper Companie.
America's Oldest Candy Companie since 1806.
I am told they have very yummy candy...but since I am just made of
paper...I can't eat any.

Here I am in front of "The House of Seven Gables".
The House of the Seven Gables is a 1668 colonial mansion in Salem, Massachusetts
It is the oldest surviving mansion house in continental North America,
with 17 rooms and over 8,000 square feet.
It was made famous by American author Nathaniel Hawthorne's 1851 novel The House of the Seven Gables
The house and its surrounding area are a National Historic Landmark District.

Here I am in front of a state of Nathaniel Hawthorne, who wrote the 1851 novel
"The House of the Seven Gables".

This is ME in front of a poster of the "Friendship" sailing in the ocean.
Doesn't it look like I am walking on the water?

I ended the day looking at souvenirs in the Store in Salem
